The MCT 700 is designed for installations where ambient temperature exceeds 50°C. No cooling is required to 65°C, if this limit is exceeded, additional cooling is required. MCT 700 is ideal for Food processing plants, and has proven popular in the Paper Industry.

Features

  • High Temperature operation
The configuration of the optical bench and electronics in the MCT 700 maximizes the internal volume for heat dispersion and minimises the heat emission, resulting in reliable operation without the inconvenience of coolants up to 65°C.
  • Non corrosive resistant sanitary enclosure
MCT 700 is constructed of 316L SS3A sanitary components approved for use within the Food and Dairy Industry with a choice of a kelF or sapphire optical window. Being engineered to withstand high temperature caustic and humid atmospheres it is also applicable to other Industries.
  • Wash and Spray Proof
Can undergo the same cleaning routine as non-electrical plant equipment.
  • Two Constituent Measurement
Multiple measurements, which can include product temperature, from a single sensor, provides useful information for better process control without incurring additional installation and maintenance costs
  • Non Contact Measurement
    Minimal cleaning and maintenance
  • Instantaneous on-line measurement
Ensures timely corrective action through automated or manual process adjustment
  • Choice of outputs from the Operator Interface
    Analog, RS232/485 and/or network options.
  • Pre Calibrated for Rapid Set-Up
  • Simple and reliable operation
Adjustments, if required, are made using a minimal number of key strokes via the Intuitive Operator Interface or Viewer PC software
  • Measurement Confidence
Robust measurement algorithms combined with dual beam single detector technology result in stolid measurement performance
