The RFM series are radio frequency based analysers that determine the moisture content through measurement of the dielectric constant of a product. The RFM1000BT is the bench top unit.
This is available with either a circular antenna for smaller sample volumes, or rectangular antenna for larger volumes as pictured.
Typical accuracies are +/- 0.3% - 0.5% absolute. Tt will not generally be as accurate as NIR over small moisture ranges owing to the measurement being influenced by the packing density.
